I was going through some stuff in my craft room and felt the need to do some organizing again...
I had my punches in separate buckets and decided they should all be in one then I know where any punch is that I'm looking for.
I wouldn't say that I have a lot of punches, but one punch I always find so useful is a circle punch. I have a few circle punches that are in ascending sizes.
So this week I decided to show some of my favorite ways to use my circle punches, but these ideas could easily work with most basic shaped punches.
In the first example I had this bold polka dot paper and punched out the red and used pop dots to raise the punched out shape. Each punched circle is covered in glossy accents and outlined in red stickles. I love this card I think it would work as a feminine or masculine card.
The second example I punched out different sized circles and created a "scallop" pattern with them. Once I added the bows and the faux stitching it also reminded me of a swag banner.
The third example I created a "window" with the punch. I suspended a punched heart by stapling the heart to the sides of the circle. I made this card very simple design which I loved, but then wanted to add to it. I really like this card card both ways depending what you would be using it for.
Here is the window closer-up.
