Glossy Accents

This has been around awhile but lately I find myself reaching for it a lot!

I am talking about Ranger Glossy Accents, this adds such an awesome look to your projects.
This week at Love is in the Details...
It works really well as a glue or can add a clear "epoxy" type look.

I wanted to show the difference it makes when you add some shine.
Here are some Jillibean Soup butterfly pins. The ones on the left I have outlined in Diamond Stickles and then filled in with the glossy accents the ones on the right I have done nothing. I think they look so much cuter with a little added shine.

In this example, the first picture shows no glossy accents:

The next picture is with glossy accents:

Here are some close ups to see better the clear "glass like" look it shows.
I think it just adds a little interest to the look of the card.

Next I wanted to show a decorative magnet that I made.
The bottle cap I have had for awhile from Maya Road.
Here is what I used:

First I punched out the paper and glued it inside the bottle cap.

Then I gently flooded the paper:

Then added the flower and pulled black thread through two buttons and tied it on top.

I then dropped the flower in and glued the button stack on top as the center of the flower.

Once everything was in place I lightly flooded the inside of the bottle cap over the leaves with Glossy Accents, and glued a small magnet to the back.

Now, you very patiently have to wait for this to dry.

This was the magnet before Glossy Accents.

This is the magnet after the glossy accents.

Here you can see it clearer as it has dried.

I hope this inspired you to "gloss over" your projects!
