I love 6x6 paper pads.
These little beauties are awesome when it comes to making cards.
In the 6x6 paper pads, you get most of the papers in that line. The patterns are usually scaled down from the usual 12x12 format.
So the smaller pattern is better suited for the smaller format of a card or tag. In some cases when you use 12x12 pattern on a smaller scale format, such as a card or tag, you lose the pattern.
In these two examples I used the Sizzix machine with 6x6 paper pads. The 6x6 size was perfect with these size dies and because the patterns were sized down, you could still see the patterns in the die cuts.
The 6x6 papers can still be really great in a 12x12 layout. They are an excellent for layering of patterns in a layout.
Although I really like a variety of 6x6 paper packs.
I really love Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket to name a few, but My Mind's Eye has come out with some 6x6 paper pads that are amazing! These pads are double sided which is something new. You will not be disappointed! There are also some matching brads and key charm embellishments too. (I used these papers in the cards, except the butterfly one, and the layout.)
